During the third grant period there were 3 STSM calls. The STSM program received 25 applications in total and the number of granted applications was 24. These numbers are quite similar to those of the previous period. Among grantees: 42% were women, 4% came from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs), and 96% were young researchers (less than 40 years old). The average STSM duration was 24 days and the mean grantee’s age was 30 years.
The total budget devoted to the STSM program was 46.853,00 €, this means a 2% increase in comparison to the executed STSM budget in the second grant period. During the third grant period, research centres and universities from 9 (11) different countries have participated as home (host) institutions [Home institution countries: Germany (8), Spain (5), Denmark (4), France (2), Azerbaijan (1), Romania (1), The Netherlands (1), Tunisia (1) and UK (1)] [Host institution countries: France (6), Germany (4), UK (3), Denmark (2), Spain (2), Sweden (2), Canada (1), Czech Republic (1), Greece (1), Poland (1) and Romania (1)]. Consequently, during the third grant period 14 different countries have actively participated in OPERA’s STSM program.
