The Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems Agrate Brianza Unit of the Italian Research Council (CNR-IMM) is looking for an enthusiastic and MBE skilled PostDoc to work on the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials heterostructures (silicene/MoS2).
Goal: identification of intercalated silicene and testing of MoS2/silicene nanojunctions.
Skills: managing molecular beam epitaxy equipment under ultra-high vacuum; in situ characterization by means of some of the following techniques: LEED, RHEED, AES, XPS, Raman spectroscopy; expertise with STM and AFM; expertise with Raman/Photoluminescence spectroscopy.
Length: 20 months.
