We are looking for motivated candidates to apply for postdoctoral scholarships in the fields of condensed matter physics and material science at Ruđer Bošković Institute and Institute of Physics in Zagreb, Croatia.
Postdoc positions are part of the “Inbound Mobility of Senior Research Assistants (MOBDOL-2023-08)” program:

Topics of the research are flexible and will depend on the preferences of the suitable candidate. Some possibilities include: machine learning interatomic potentials, electron-phonon coupling, superconductivity, charge density waves, optical properties, density functional theory, anharmonicity, etc. See publication list of the supervisors.
The tax-free scholarship is 3.625 EUR per month (for comparison the average monthly net salary in Croatia is 1100€).
