P4F Post doc fellowships in Prague — 1st Call

P4F Post doc fellowships in Prague — 1st Call

The Institute of Physics (FZU) of the Czech Academy of Sciences have launched the post-doc Physics for Future P4F program, a EU-COFUND project, very attractive for young researchers. The philosophy is very similar to the Marie Curie fellowships. And the conditions also.

The candidate has to think on a research subject and pick a supervisor accordingly. Please have a look and tell to your recently defended PhD students looking for a post-doc position in Europe. They could have a very good funding and live in Prague for two years! And the competition is much less that in the MarieCurie postdocs. They could even “reuse” the MC project if the applied this year.

Please check here.

The call is now open and the deadline is 10th November. Dr. Elena Buixaderas is willing to be a supervisor in this program in case anyone has an interesting idea related to her topics (lattice dynamics, spectroscopies, phonons, anti/ferroelectrics, phase change materials, etc). Other supervisors are available in her department as well regarding multiferroics, metamaterials, domains, theory… FZU has position also for biophysics or cosmology…

We are looking for interesting ideas!
