The Epilab group – Fabrication and study of semiconductor quantum nanostructures (https://www.mater.unimib.it/en/research/research-areas/microelectronics-and-photonics-materials/fabrication-and-study-semiconductor-quantum-nanostructures-epilab) at the department of Materials Science of the University of Milano-Bicocca is looking for an enthusiastic candidate, preferably with experience in the field of epitaxial growth using Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE), to work on the synthesis and characterization of novel nitrides.
The applicant must have a master degree in the field of material science, physics, chemistry and engineering. A PhD degree is not mandatory but recommended.
Goal: Integration on silicon of two-dimensional and superconducting nitrides for quantum applications grown by MBE.
Length: 15 months.
Net salary: ≈2350€.
Starting date: July 1st 2024.
