Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to submit your abstracts to Session L: “Ultra-Wide-Bandgap Semiconductors challenges: from materials to devices,” organized within the E-MRS 2024 Fall Meeting & Exhibit at the University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland. The conference will take place from September 16th to 19th, 2024.
In this symposium, we maintain our focus on oxides (e.g., Ga2O3, ZnGa2O4, ZnMgO, AlGa2O4, etc.), nitrides (e.g., AlN, high-Al-content AlGaN, boron nitride, etc.), although contributions on other UWBS are welcome too. We envisage contributions concerning materials such as:
- AlN and high-Al-content AlGaN
- Ga2O3
- Boron nitrides
- Complex oxides (e.g., ZnGa2O4, MgZnO, AlGa2O4, etc.)
- Complex nitrides (II-IV nitrides, II-II nitrides, etc.)
The key topics to be covered during the symposium include:
- Bulk crystal and thin film growth
- Defects Studies: Theory/Experiment
- Functionalization of defects
- Optical, electrical, magnetic, and thermal properties
- Device fabrication and performance
